Cello teams up with Midwich for World Cup 2018 exclusive

British TV manufacturer Cello has announced that it will be working in partnership with specialist audio visual distributor Midwich to bring a ‘larger than life’ World Cup viewing experience to the B2B sector.

Capitalising on this summer’s biggest sporting event, Midwich will be exclusively supplying 75in and 85in (C75ANSMT-4K and C85ANSMT-4K) Cello televisions to the leisure and hospitality markets, such as pubs, gyms, hotels and sports bars.

Midwich business manager Mark Flesher commented: “Big sporting events can be a very lucrative opportunity for pubs and bars. It’s important to provide the best possible viewing experience to get football fans flocking through the door. What can be better than cheering on the England football team with an ultra large TV made from a British manufacturer?”

Midwich is an established trade-only distributor of Cello products, having worked together for several years providing a variety of products to businesses. The partnership is expected to continue to grow after a year of expanded sales and distribution reach in 2017, due to an increase in national advertising and the implementation of new marketing initiatives, focusing on sales during the build-up to World Cup 2018.

Cello Electronics chief executive Brian Palmer commented: “It’s our mission to create quality and affordable products that appeal not only to the everyday consumer, but to niche market segments in the B2B space. To that end we have developed an exclusive partnership with Midwich as they have the established connections to supply and service these specialist clients.

“As a British company full of football fans, it’s great that we will be offering fellow supporters a fantastic way to view the games, while enabling businesses in the UK to offer a large screen viewing experience to their customers at a very affordable price point, often half the price of competitors.”
