Hughes Trade appoints business development consultant

Hughes Trade has recruited an industry veteran to help its commercial arm fulfil its growth plans, the company has announced.

Rob Dixon is joining the company as a business development consultant, bringing with him industry experience including 17 years at Miele Professional where he held a number of senior positions.

Rob commented: “I have known Hughes Trade for several years and watched it grow on the back of sound business practices and excellent customer service so am thrilled to be part of the team.

“I will be passing on my industry knowledge to my new colleagues as well as using it, and my contacts, to help the business with its growth plans.”

Hughes Trade general manager Paul Chisnall added: “There are few people with as much experience in our industry, or who commands as much respect, as Rob. To say we are delighted to have him on board is an understatement! Despite having only just joined us we are already seeing the benefits of his knowledge and looking forward to working with him in the future.”

Hughes Trade’s Commercial Arm covers the South East, Midlands and East Anglia from its branches in Rochester, Leicester and Norwich. It mainly supports the care, hospitality, tourism, educational and facilities management sectors.
