Long-established British brand Swan has announced that it is realigning its electricals and housewares output for the first time in 30 years to create a stronger brand proposition.
Managed by Swan Products Ltd, the move heralds ‘a new era’ for the Swan brand as it looks to capitalise on consumer recognition for its classically designed small domestic appliances and white goods products by offering a range of complementary cookware and kitchen accessories.
Swan Products Ltd director Rob Wileman commented: “In realigning housewares and electricals we’re making it much easier for retailers to offer colour coordinating product lines, satisfying customer demand and essentially making us a one-stop shop for all Swan products. We’re incredibly excited about the new product collection – Swan will be the only British housewares brand to offer fully colour-coordinated ranges across housewares, kitchen-top appliances and white goods.
“Competitor propositions currently include colour-matched collections encompassing housewares and electrical products but stop short of large kitchen appliances. The new Swan Housewares range will initially be available in the hugely successful Swan Vintage Collection colour palette of blue, green, red, traditional cream, orange and black, with other designs to follow.”
To be previewed at Exclusively Housewares on June 9 and 10 2015 at The Business Design Centre in London, the Swan Housewares range will include a bread bin, storage canisters, towel pole, storage bin, mug tree, frying pans and saucepans, all boasting the same retro design as the Swan Vintage Collection of large and small appliances.
