Whirlpool appoints new brand manager

Whirlpool UK Appliances Limited has appointed Catherine Balderson to the position of brand manager for Whirlpool.

Catherine was previously customer marketing manager for the company’s new business home delivery channel, which included supporting Shop Direct and Tesco.  Prior to her time at Whirlpool, Catherine was national account manager with SodaStream.

Catherine commented: “My previous role with Whirlpool is great grounding and has given me an excellent insight into the commercial and marketing side of the business. This depth of knowledge will enable me to progress and execute the needs of the brand effectively, including working with retailers to broaden distribution, raise awareness and selling the benefits of the brand.”

Whirlpool UK Appliances Ltd brand communications director Ian Moverley said: “Catherine’s appointment will bolster what is already a strong and talented team and we’re delighted to have her on-board.
