KitchenAid hosted a media event on 3 July to showcase the wide range of small and major appliances on offer for the festive season. Partnering with PR & Marketing agency, Fab Communications, the KitchenAid Experience Store on Wigmore Street, London, was transformed into a winter wonderland with giant baubles and striped candy canes.
Over 100 journalists and bloggers attended and feasted on samples of Cranberry Soda Bread, Roast Beef with Mini Yorkshires (expertly cooked using the integral rotisserie in the Twelix Oven), Almond Mince Pies and Brandy Ice-Cream (of course!).
Sara Bazeley, Whirlpool Brand Communications & PR Manager commented: “The store looked resplendent. Yes, it was a tremendous amount of work, but from an experiential point of view, guests were clearly inspired and eagerly gathered content for their seasonal features.”
Helen Simpson, Marketing Manager UK & Ireland, KitchenAid SDA added: “Demonstrations are the best way to bring the brand to life, especially when it comes to the hugely versatile Culinary Hub of the iconic Stand Mixer. The space looked amazing but the aromatic wafts of roast beef, cinnamon and mincemeat coming from the ovens made for a heady Michaelmas mix!”
