Hoover returns to TV screens with headline H-FREE 500 campaign

Leading domestic appliance manufacturer, Hoover, is returning to television screens 1st April 2020 with a landmark campaign for the H-FREE 500 cordless vacuum; Hoover’s most powerful compact stick.

Representing a significant investment, the 30-second commercial, which will also air as 10 and 20-second edits, will be live from April and run across a range of digital and social channels.

The advert will showcase the versatility of the H-FREE 500; from its innovative space-saving storage capability of just 69cm and up to 40-minute run time, to its ability to reach into the smallest spaces for effective cleaning of dust, debris and pet hair. 

The lightweight H-FREE 500, which is endorsed by ShortList and the Good Housekeeping Institute (GHI), has an SSP of £199.99 and matches the performance of a corded appliance*.

Antony Peart, director of brand communications at Hoover, said: “Airing in two bursts from April 2020, the aim of the campaign is to strengthen Hoover’s position within the cleaning category and drive footfall sales for our trade partners.

“As such, I’d urge our retail customers to start stocking the H-FREE 500 now in order to meet expected demand”.

News of the investment comes following a raft of recent brand deals for Hoover, including a two-year sponsorship of Rugby League powerhouse, Warrington Wolves, broadcast and digital support for the latest series of Dancing on Ice with Virgin Media in Ireland and an ongoing partnership with British cook and restaurateur, Simon Rimmer.
